I am Barbara Hickmann and I was born in 1954. For many years already I share my life with animals. This love and affection remained until today.

Since 2005 I work as an Cat Psychologist

Since 2006 I write catbooks and artikles for cat-magazines.

In an honorary I am engaged in the animal protection where I help to find new good homes for animals, esp. in emergencies and for "problem animals", that rather often are not easy in finding a new home.

I own 4rd Reiki rank and Imara-Reiki. It is a wonderful talent, that did not only change my attitude of life and my sensations, but as well I do feel more and more that my animals love it when I give them Reiki. This resent I received I now forward to other animals (and humans) in order to help them.

Advice all around the cat has become a day to day event. I support breeders who have only just started and I hold seminars in order to teach the basics of cat breeding before one starts. As guidance I wrote and published a brochure called "healthy breeding right from the beginning" (ISBN-3-00-013402-6), that does not only offer newcomers but as well active breeders some helpfull information.

In October of 2006 my 1st book about cat breeding will be published. It won't be long until it will be available in English too.
